70% of UK adults are expected to watch coverage of today's England v Paraguay game either live, in highlights or as part of news bulletins.
According to research conducted by ICM, 21 million will watch the match live at home or at friends' houses, while a further 3 million are expected to view the game in pubs or on big screens around the country. Others will use radio, online or mobile services.
ICM's report suggests that 65% of the nation will watch live coverage, with 5% more choosing to view highlights or news bulletins.
A random sample of 1,000 people aged 18 and over were chosen to take part in a telephone survey about the game between 7 and 9 June 2006.
