It's surprisingly good given the fact that the DAB signal is notoriously patchy. Certainly all national stations work fine... The local ones? Well they are a bit more problematic as the signal strength varies as you move around a room - let alone walk from one place to the other. However overall it works pretty well. The recording to SD card is EXCELLENT... ideal for turning your favourite radio shows into podcasts... The FM tuner is the one MAJOR let down on the one I got... now be careful here because I may have been unlucky and got a poor example but on the example I bought I find that the FM tuner is nowhere near selective enough and with some of our local stations I got breakthrough from the adjacent stronger signal (for example radio 1 breaking into a local radio station) This is very annoying and makes the FM facility almost completely USELESS. Overall I would say if you want a recording DAB then buy one - but don't rely on it for FM. value for money is pretty good overall.

Been using mine since March 2007. Not very pleased. Battery life only a few ours (still waiting on Pure to send new set). Just a small bump and it turns it self off. MP3 tracks come up in any order, useless when trying to use it for audio books. Reception hit and miss. Display poor.
