Bob Geldof is banning his daughter from going on holiday to Ibiza.

The former Boomtown Rats singer felt uncomfortable with Peaches' plan to DJ alongside best friend Fiona Ritchie at a festival where Babyshambles star Pete Doherty will be playing.

A source told the Daily Star, "Bob's happy for her to carve out a niche as a DJ and loves her spending time with Fiona - he thinks she's a great influence. However, he does want to remind her that she is only 17 and she's not supposed to be drinking.

"Obviously working in nightclubs puts her slap-bang in the middle of people enjoying a good time, but he feels he can keep an eye on all that when they're in London. He's drawn the line at Ibiza though as she will be out of the country and hanging around people like Doherty. Bob trusts Peaches, but he is acting as any parent would."
