Nicole Richie collapses while shopping

Nicole Richie has reportedly fainted during a trip to an exclusive clothes boutique.

The Simple Life star was looking at clothes at Los Angeles celebrity haunt Kitson when she fell to the floor.

A witness told Life & Style magazine: "She was looking through a rack of clothes when she suddenly fainted and hit the floor."

The source continued: "The staff helped her to a chair and offered her something to eat. She shot back, 'No!' and mumbled something about it being 'so hot'."

Shockingly slim Richie apparently accepted a glass of water before getting her strength back enough to leave the store.
