U2 given skyscraper all-clear

U2 have been granted permission to build a skyscraper in Dublin, according to reports.

The Sun claims that the Irish band have been given the all-clear to construct the tower, which will be the highest building in the city.

Atop the 35 floors will be the penthouse, which will be adapted into a recording studio for the band.

The skyscraper, located at Britain Quay in the docklands of Dublin, has been dubbed the U2 Tower.
