Vin Diesel has apparently sparked up a romance with US TV presenter and aspiring actress Maria Menounos.

The Chronicles of Riddick star first struck up a rapport with Menounos when she interviewed him on the programme Access Hollywood, but the pair were recently spotted at a performance of the musical Chicago in New York.

A source confirmed that the couple are dating, and told Contactmusic: "They've been friendly for about a year."

"There's always been an attraction there. [Now] they're taking it to the next level," a friend of the presenter added.
