Nicollette Sheridan: "More fun to play villains"

Desperate Housewives actress Nicollette Sheridan has revealed that she prefers to play villainous characters.

Appearing on ABC morning talk show The View to promote her new film, Code Name: The Cleaner, the West Sussex-born actress told View co-host Joy Behar that she finds it "more fun to play villains."

The View co-hosts rattled off a list of bad girls played by Sheridan including her role on Knots Landing as Paige Matheson and the feisty Edie Britt on Desperate Housewives.

"I've played my fair share," admitted Sheridan. "I would like you to know that I won best heroine for Knots Landing," she joked. "She was a good girl, a bit of a role model actually."

Sheridan also took the opportunity to thank the ABC audience for her recent SAG nomination for her role in Desperate Housewives. "Thank all of you for watching the show," she said.
