Sister Katie Price of Our Lady, formerly known as Jordan, has opened her seventh nunnery in London's Soho district.

The luxury convent, which houses its own tanning salon, nail bar and Starbucks coffee shop, will use Price's infamous 'Swap Nookie 4 Nunnery!' campaign to attract new recruits from the local community of party-goers, pole-dancers and prostitutes.

Sister Price, who took her vows after her ITV2 reality series Katie and Peter's Penis Enlargement Live! drew a record 132,872 Ofcom complaints, insisted that the convent is her most "glamtastic" establishment yet.

Her campaign to attract young girls to convent life by "sexing up" the traditional nun's uniform has drawn widespread criticism, with Dale Winton, the Archbishop of Canterbury, denouncing the initiative as "deeply, deeply offensive".

"A habit is intended to protect a Sister's modesty. How can that happen if it's been slashed to the thigh and allows for a generous cleavage?" he told DS.

However, Price defended the campaign by revealing that 'Swap Nookie 4 Nunnery!' has already attracted 50,000 new nuns - including former page 3 girls Michelle Marsh, Jakki Degg and Lucy Pinder - to her convents.

"I've made the boring old nun's lifestyle more attractive to young girls – they just want to show off what the Lord gave them. That said, in Sister Jodie Marsh of the Almighty's case, it might be better if she covered herself up a bit."

Price also dismissed reports that she is planning to renege her vows in favour of a return to glamour modelling, telling DS: "Him upstairs is the only fella for me – whatever my ex-husband Pete might think. And I do believe that God is a he. I'm not one of those l**zas or nothing."
