A very average personal video recorder from the same family as the PVR 6280T and others. The difference is that this one has a 160Gig hard drive and will pause a live programme for up to two hours. Picture and sound quality are reasonable and the functionality so-so. Although twin tuner, you can only pre-set a recording on one programme at a time. If you want to record a second programme at the same time as another then you have to manually kick off the second recording at the time it starts and it has to be the channel you are watching. The biggest drawback is that there is no reminder function. You can pre-set to record but not to automatically switch channels. Also, there is no way of fast skipping between days in the EPG, even though the User Manual says you can with the << and >> buttons. Support is from the UK but software downloads seem few and far between, if at all. Sagem needed to swap my box to get me a machine with the latest software, and even then it didn't solve the problem!
