One of the early Freeview boxes now in its fourth year of service. Totally dependant on the remote control, a more solid type than many, and though only one SCART and now/next EPG it has the advantage of a modulator so works with old TV sets without a SCART. The technical pages are more detailed than new boxes. It cost about £40 from Richer Sounds, a reasonable price at the time. Anyone looking for a box with a modulator for that old TV in the spare room could do a lot worse if one turns up second-hand.
