S04E07: 'Ji Yeon'

Sun confronts Daniel and asks whether they are really going to rescue the crash survivors. When he fails to answer, she tells Jin that they must move to Locke's rival group. Juliet intervenes and warns her that she must leave the island in order to survive childbirth, but Sun remains defiant. This prompts Juliet to tell Jin about his wife's affair. A heart to heart ensues and they opt to stay with the group, with Jin stating that he wants the baby, if female, to be called Ji Yeon.

In flashbacks, Jin desperately tries to procure a toy Panda and take it to a hospital with him as a gift, although he encounters several bizarre obstacles on the way. He finally reaches the hospital and passes on the Panda as a gift from his employer to a Chinese ambassador. In flashforwards, Sun is revealed to be part of the Oceanic Six and gives birth to a daughter, who she names Ji Yeon. Two months later, Hurley visits her and they go to a cemetery - where they tend to the grave of Jin, who supposedly died in the crash, according to the tombstone.

On the boat, Desmond and Sayid see a female member of the crew jump to her death before they meet with Gault - the captain of the vessel. Gault tells them that Charles Widmore is behind their mission and that the crash remains found on the ocean bed were indeed faked. He cites Ben Linus as the reason that there were so many dead bodies available. Desmond and Sayid are then moved to a new room, which is blood-soaked. The ship's cleaner, Kevin Johnson, is called over to mop up the mess and is revealed to be Michael Dawson operating under an alias.
