The channel is now available on Sky EPG channel 452 to Sky HD customers. It had been testing for several days on Eurobird 1 at 12.604GHz V.
Rush is one of 15 high definition channels operated by Voom in the US, and today's move marks its international debut.
The addition takes the number of HD channels available on Sky to 17. There are also plans to put selected Rush content on the video on demand service Sky Anytime. The channel is broadcasting 24 hours a day in 1080i.
Voom general manager Greg Moyer said: "In launching our global Rush HD channel, we are satisfying the surging interest in both quality HD television and extreme sports around the world."
Sky's head of advanced TV products, Hilary Perchard, added: "With the addition of Rush HD, we believe our customers will enjoy even more choice and value from the UK’s most popular HD service.
"We remain committed to making the best content available in high-definition right across the schedule."
A spokeswoman for Voom said there currently no plans to bring other channels to the UK.
