Spears involved in highway accident

Britney Spears was left unharmed after being involved in a highway smash on Saturday evening.

The singer was driving her 2008 white Mercedes in Los Angeles at 8.18pm when the crash occurred.

The accident report from the California Highway Patrol said: "The collision occurred when the driver of the Mercedes, driving in the number 3 lane in stop and go traffic, failed to observe the vehicle directly ahead of her come to a complete stop."

The resulting collision sent a Nissan crashing into another car. Nobody was injured in the incident.

Spears reportedly managed to win back ex-husband Kevin Federline after the pair holidayed together in Hawaii.
