'Apprentice' Sara: 'Alex plays the game'

Fired Apprentice candidate Sara Dhada has accused Alex Wotherspoon of playing games.

Alex has been on the losing side on six out of the eight shows so far in the series but has managed to avoid being axed by Sir Alan Sugar.

Sara claimed it was "very clever" tactics from the 24-year-old regional sales manager that have kept him in the show.

On this week's episode Sara was criticised for her poor sales technique, while Alex was praised by his project manager for earning the most cash.

Speaking about her fellow contestant, Sara told DS: "Alex is very clever. I give it to Alex, he knows how to play the game.

"He knows how to shift blame. Alex and I were working together selling the wedding dresses. I was bringing him the people and he was closing the deals.

"However, he made it out like he was the only one doing it. He was comfortable in a zone where I was bringing him people."
