Cook to continue as Fatboy Slim

Norman Cook has denied rumours that he is planning to ditch his Fatboy Slim pseudonym.

The DJ was quoted by The Sun as saying that he is laying the name to rest after 11 years.

It was claimed that he wanted to change his moniker in a bid to boost his Guinness World Record for the most UK Top 40 hits under different names.

However, his management "categorically" confirmed that he will continue operating as Fatboy Slim.

A statement added that the DJ is currently preparing for appearances at festivals including Rock Ness, Glastonbury, Wireless, Creamfields and Brighton Beach.
