Hudson, Wilson 'romance is over'

Kate Hudson and Owen Wilson's on-off relationship has come to an end, say reports.

According to People, the pair, who first started dating in 2006, have begun looking for new partners.

Wilson was spotted being "pretty chummy" with women at New York's Upstairs club, while Hudson went for a evening date with Bride Wars co-star Steve Howey last week.

A friend of Wilson commented: "It was a pretty bad breakup. Owen said it was a tough one. He definitely doesn't want to dwell on it. He wants to put it behind him."

It was reported last week that the couple had got engaged after Hudson was spotted wearing a ring. However, the jewellery was later confirmed to be a prop from the actress's latest movie.
