The Australian chatshow host, who moved over to the US with wife Tasma Walton earlier this year, has reportedly signed a deal with David Letterman's production company to fill in as host of The Late Late Show for six weeks.
McManus has also filmed a pilot for daytime show Say It Now with actress Valerie Bertinelli, which is rumoured to be broadcast later this year.
The star's spokesperson confirmed that McManus is taking part in the Montreal Comedy Festival later this year but refused to acknowledge the rumours about the hosting job.
