The cooking game show, which begins filming in Melbourne next week and will be aired later this year, will involve celebrity chefs Neil Perry, Guillaume Brahimi and Guy Grossi taking on young chefs in culinary challenges.
Perry told The Daily Telegraph: "I love the [Japanese] original, which is one of the reasons I'm doing this version and it's such a privilege to be involved. This is a show about competition and passion - and I can assure you Guillaume, Guy and myself do not want to be beaten.
"But it also takes us out of our comfort zones because we can't just fall back on dishes we do in our restaurants. We're going to have to be at our creative best."
