The 18-year-old singer, who came second in last year's Australian Idol, was asked to take part in the documentary by Nickelodeon in a bid to make eco-awareness "cool" among young people.
According to The Daily Telegraph, Cool School will follow Warner as she journeys to the world's first environmental school in Antarctica to learn about global warming.
Warner said that she was scared during filming, as she had to spend two weeks aboard a Russian icebreaker boat.
She said: "I'm pretty sure I had a nugget in my pants, we were all packing it. We were told to really look after ourselves aboard because if we fell off we would have died.
"What we do now will affect the future so when we look back [in 30 years] we know that we've done our bit. We saw the effects of climate change first hand and it makes you really think and it makes you really want to help out because Antarctica's such an amazing, magnificent place."
