Don Hany has revealed that he is a big "softie".
The Australian actor, who is best known for playing doctor Chris in new television drama Offspring, proposed to former East West 101 co-star Alin Sumarwata earlier this year by way of a romantic treasure hunt of keepsakes from throughout their relationship.
Hany told Woman's Day magazine: "I used her birthday as an excuse to [propose]. I was just lucky that I had collected all this stuff since we met.
"She thought it was a great birthday present. She still wasn't on to it. Not until I actually got the ring out. I was crying more than her. I am such a softie."
The couple have decided to celebrate their wedding in Sydney next year.
