The Australian actor, who is best known for playing Aden Jefferies in Home and Away, said that he enjoyed starring in the latest instalment of the television crime drama because his character was different to anything that he had played before.
Lasance told National Features: "I always wanted to stretch myself as an actor and this role is the complete opposite of Aden.
"It's such an honour to be part of [Underbelly]. There's nothing else like it - it's one of the grittiest shows on Australian TV."
Underbelly: Tell Lucifer You're Here premieres next Monday on Channel 9.
