Deborra-Lee Furness, who is best known for her roles in Jindabyne, Prisoner and Correlli, was the first celebrity to feature in Eddie McGuire's new Australian version of This Is Your Life.
Before Furness was told about the show, Jackman said: "I'm not good at keeping secrets, but she has no idea."
Stars such as Jerry Seinfeld, Nicole Kidman and Naomi Watts paid tribute to Furness, while Rove McManus and Tasma Walton sat in the audience.
According to the Herald Sun, Seinfeld said of Furness: "She is not a woman who is overwhelmed or thrown for a loop by anything in this world."
Jackman and Furness also relived their wedding by dancing to 'All The Way', sung by Tom Burlinson and Kate Ceberano.
