Two contestants leave 'My Kitchen Rules'

The married couple, who come from Tasmania, lost their place in the Australian cooking reality show after failing to impress the judges with their retro dessert.
As they presented their dish decorated with a Peppermint Crisp chocolate bar, judge Manu Feildel said: "It's an old fashioned thing to do and shouldn't be on the menu." Celeb chef Toby Puttock added: "That's not cooking," while guest Karen Martini described it as a "failure".
According to The Age, judge Pete Evans said that he "loved" James and Melanie's stuffed quail entree, but Guy Grossi insisted that the couple's seafood soup main was too garlicky.
The Maddocks scored 35 out of a possible 60 in the elimination challenge, while Melbourne flatmates Kane Lillywhite and Lee Chan got 48 points for their Asian-inspired menu.
Melanie has received death threats since her time on the show and was labelled the "Tassie Tiger" for her "bitchy" comments towards other contestants. She said: "The person they're seeing on TV is not me at all. I'm honest, but I'm never mean."
It was recently announced that My Kitchen Rules will be returning for a third season next year.
