Ten reshuffles shows due to poor ratings

George Negus's new current affairs show has been moved to a 6.30pm time slot due to a lack of viewers, while Mel Walden's news bulletin in Melbourne has been cancelled.
According to The Age, the 5pm news programme will now be hosted by Walden and Helen Kapalos and has been extended to become a 90 minutes show.
Ten has released a statement saying that viewers have "been strongly supportive of the programme as a unique, credible commercial television offering, yet [have] revealed a preference for it to be scheduled in the more traditional public affairs timeslot".
Chief programming officer David Mott added: "We are making this alteration in the early evening news schedule based on feedback from viewers who value competitive, intelligent and incisive news and public affairs programmes.
"We are strong supporters of quality news, comment and analysis and believe that Network Ten should remain a leading player in this space."
