The new Australian drama, which is aired on the Seven Network, gained an audience of 1.6m people for its premiere episode on Tuesday.
The show follows a group of 30-something women, played by Melanie Vallejo, Zoe Tuckwell-Smith, Melissa Bergland and Virginia Gay, heading off to their dreaded school reunion.
These figures made it the day's most watched programme, followed by reality cooking series My Kitchen Rules, the Seven News, current affairs show Today Tonight and NCIS. Five of the eight shows which attracted over a million viewers last night aired on Seven.
Seven bosses Bevan Lee and John Holmes told The Australian that they are thrilled with the result of the new show.
Winners and Losers was brought in to replace family drama Packed To The Rafters, which usually averages on 1.8 million viewers.
The producer of the show recently praised the lead cast members for bonding so quickly on set.
