Foxtel has officially announced a new reality TV series about the wives and girlfriends of sports stars.
The 10-part series, which will be called WAG Nation, will follow the lives of five career women involved with Australian footballers and rugby players and is scheduled to be shown on Fox8 later this year.
According to The ABC, the show is going to feature Sydney Swans player Jude Bolton's wife Lynette, Carlton Blues member Jarrad Waite's fiancée Jackie Spong, Sharks player John Williams's girlfriend Jana Peterson and NBL star Adam Gibson's girlfriend Chantelle Raleigh.
Anthony Minichiello's fashion designer partner Terry Biviano is also confirmed to be taking part. She was first linked to the show in February.
It was originally rumoured that Home And Away actresses Jodi Gordon and Tessa James, who are with sportsmen Braith Anasta and Nate Myles respectively, had agreed to take part in the show but they are no longer linked to it.
James and Myles recently announced their engagement after about a year together. She said of their relationship: "We're both easy going and, while we're both in completely different professions, at the same time, they are very similar. We both have really high aspirations and want to do things together, like travel."
