This series of the Australian crime drama, set in 1920s Sydney, tells the story of vice queen Kate Leigh, brothel owner Tilly Devine and gangster rivals Norman Bruhn and Joseph Taylor.
According to The Daily Telegraph, Sea Patrol star Jeremy Lindsay Taylor, who has been cast as Bruhn, was seen filming at Sydney's Central Station yesterday. Also spotted was Justin Rosniak, who plays Taylor.
New Zealand actress Chelsie Preston has been chosen to play Devine, while Rake star Danielle Cormack won the role of Leigh.
Despite reports that Oscar-nominated actress Jacki Weaver had been cast in the show, executive producer Des Monaghan recently admitted: "We can't afford her. I imagine she will be well out of our price range. It's a great rumour but unfortunately it's not true."
The team behind Underbelly recently announced that they are making a six-part bikie war series based on the 1984 Milperra Massacre.
