The 'I Kissed A Girl' singer, whose California Dreams tour is soon scheduled to visit Australia, will reportedly kick-start the show with a performance of her hit single 'Firework'.
Despite being in the country to promote his new movie Arthur, it is believed that her husband Russell Brand will not be attending the event.
The couple have recently been subject to rumours of marital problems, with Perry being spotted at Coachella with friend Rihanna, while Aussie radio host Jackie O described Brand as "a bit sad" when she interviewed him.
The Logie Awards take place on May 1 and will be hosted by City Homicide actor Shane Bourne. Stars such as Rebecca Gibney, Karl Stefanovic and Chrissie Swan are nominated for the prestigious Gold Logie award.
Other celebrities rumoured to be taking to the stage include comedy duo Hamish and Andy, model-turned-presenter Sarah Murdoch and Summer Heights High creator Chris Lilley.
