The Australian supermodel, who was announced as Kristy Hinze's replacement on the reality TV series earlier this year, has allegedly been making demands that she has "nothing but the best" at all times.
An industry insider told The Daily Telegraph: "She's very beautiful but also quite new to TV. She wants to be perfect but is still inexperienced and when she doesn't get exactly what she wants, she doesn't mind letting everyone know about it."
One source revealed: "She's quite new to TV but acts like a 20-year veteran," while another said that Gale complains to hair, make-up and wardrobe staff if she doesn't look perfect.
Project Runway executive producer Anna Gregory has denied all reports, saying: "Megan is an absolute delight to work with and what is most outstanding is her work ethic. Nothing was too much trouble and everybody loved working with her, especially the crew. The suggestion that Megan didn't bond or get along with the crew is completely unfounded."
Foxtel boss Brian Walsh added: "We are delighted with Megan and found her to be co-operative both on and off the set."
Rival model Jennifer Hawkins reportedly wanted the job as the host of the series when Hinze quit, but lost out due to Gale being a "bigger brand" than her.
