The Australian breakfast television host, who presents Channel Seven show Sunrise alongside David Koch, has allegedly signed a two-year contract worth $700,000 (£460,000) a year, making her one of TV's highest paid women.
Doyle's manager James Erskine denied rumours that he has tried to get Doyle a job with the Nine Network, telling the Herald Sun: "I haven't shopped her around. Did I receive another offer from another network? Yes, but Mel wanted to stay with Sunrise.
"They were my marching orders. We have been negotiating with Seven for some time and we have been going back and forth looking at the opportunities available for Mel post-Sunrise."
Rival TV presenter Kylie Gillies is believed to be on $400,000 (£260,000) a year, Today host Lisa Wilkinson reportedly gets $600,000 (£390,000), while Koch has been rumoured to be on as much as $1 million ($650,000).
The Sunrise crew will be heading to New York on location in a bid to boost ratings after being beaten by rival show Today for the first time this year.
Doyle claimed earlier this year that she is "no different" to any other career mother, saying: "You see me for three hours when I'm on the ball, I'm fully made up and wearing lovely clothes. You don't see the crazy parts at 5 o'clock when the kids are having a tantrum. I get tired, I get cranky, I could probably be healthier, and I probably could do so many things better and differently but I am doing the best I can."
She has also spoken out about her "total breakdown" after her father was diagnosed with terminal cancer in 2008, saying: "I just completely fell apart. I felt like my world had come crashing down around me." Her father has since made a complete recovery.
