According to the Herald Sun, the channel's weekend music show Video Hits has already been axed, with Sports Tonight and Late News reportedly in danger of being taken off air in the coming weeks.
Ten's head of corporate communications Jeanette McLachlan has refused to either confirm or deny rumours of programmes being cancelled, saying only: "All networks continually look at their programming schedules. Any programming announcement will be announced in due course."
George Negus's current affairs show was recently rumoured to be facing the chop after Ten cut 100 jobs. Since its launch, his programme has had poor viewer ratings. Although audience figures did jump slightly when it was moved from 6pm to 6.30pm, it has consistently rated fewer than half a million viewers nationally.
As well as Negus, television personalities including Sandra Sully, Dylan Lewis, Brad McEwan and Faustina "Fuzzy" Agolley are waiting to see if their jobs at the network are safe.
