All four couples from The Block have now sold their properties.

Only Polly Porter and Waz Jones's house from the Australian renovation reality show managed to sell at auction in the series grand finale last weekend, allowing them to walk away as the winners with $115,000 (£74,000) prize money.

Josh Densten and Jenna Whitehead have now sold their double-fronted terrace for $1 million (£640,000), giving them $50,000 (£32,000) cash profit after exceeding the reserve price of $950,000 (£607,000).

"We always knew we had a million-dollar property," the newly-engaged couple told the Herald Sun. "We're thrilled with this result. Jenna got the ring she's always wanted and now we can have the wedding we've always wanted."

They also described The Block as "a rollercoaster ride that [they'll] never forget", adding: "We're sure the new owner will be really happy with their new house."

Rod and Tania Walsh sold their house for $922,000 (£590,000) in a mini-auction, giving them a $72,000 (£46,000) profit. They told NineMSN: "We've loved every day we've been on The Block and to get this result tonight is just icing on the cake."

They also said that they were "thrilled" that Porter and Jones won the competition "fair and square".

Sisters Amie Godde and Katrina Chambers also sold their Melbourne house on Monday for their reserve price of $860,000 (£550,000), leaving them with no profit.
