The couple, who were crowned the winners of the Australian reality TV show when they made $15,000 (£9,500) in the sale of their renovated property, said that their time on the series helped break down "walls" between them.
Jones told Woman's Day magazine: "[Marriage] will happen. And I think Polly would be quite happy for it to happen, say, tomorrow! I love her very much and we will get married. I just wanted the timing to be right.
"Polly probably thinks that I don't think about [proposing], but I've given it a little thought. I'm a little bit of a sook, so there's a few things I have thought about that might make it a pretty special day."

Porter said: "[Waz is] the one. I reckon [marriage will] happen in the next 12 to 18 months and he knows I'll be saying yes! The Block made us stronger because, at the end of the day, we only had each other. More than ever now, I know what's ticking through Waz's head."
He added: "We lived together for a couple of years before The Block so we knew each other pretty well, but there's just something about doing a renovating show that means there's no more barriers, no more walls between us."
Although the other couples taking part in The Block failed to sell their properties in the final episode, they managed to sell them after the show finished.
