The Australian television presenter, who has relocated to LA with wife Tasma Walton to launch his new US-based TV show, allegedly sold his $3.4 million (£2.25 million) Melbourne house to fund the new property purchase.
According to The Daily Telegraph, the four-bedroom home boasts views of the northern beaches, was recently renovated, and sits on a 1,524 square metre plot. It also has a swimming pool, outdoor entertaining area and three bathrooms.

Last year, McManus and Walton reportedly purchased a $1.2 million (£751,000) property just outside LA. She said of the country retreat style setting of their new home: "It's important because the world is so frenetic. I love bushwalking, and Rove's a twitcher, so I've started enjoying bird-spotting, too."
At that time, Walton also revealed that the idea of having children was starting to "appeal" to her more and more, admitting that "it hasn't always been that way".
Since arriving in Los Angeles, McManus has landed a regular slot on Jay Leno's show, as well as also being the new host of his own series Rove LA.
Rove LA premieres on Monday, September 19 at 8.30pm on Fox8. Watch the promo below:
