The Australian comedy duo, who have relocated to the US to host Hamish and Andy's Gap Year, said that they don't care about the harsh criticism their show has been given because they are just having "fun".
Blake told the Herald Sun: "I'm sure critics would love to think it really cuts deep and hurts you, but at the end of the day we are two best friends having a holiday and putting together a really fun show.
"We do take the fact we're lucky enough to be given a TV show seriously, but it comes down to trusting your instincts. Sometimes that lines up with critics, sometimes it doesn't. We put ourselves out there, it's all part of the game, you have to accept that. It's a lot easier and fun to bag something on Twitter than say 'I think it'll improve'."

> Blake, Lee: 'Pay rumours are way off'
Blake said that he and Lee have read through all the comments on the microblogging site and admitted that some people "had some good points".
"It was nice to get the feedback," Lee added. "People didn't know what the show was. The show is about our adventures. It's been a great learning experience, even if you've been in the industry for ten years you'll still be a little bit green.
"For us, it's about putting on the show we wanted to put on. You're always going to tweak that. We tweaked [our old] radio show. The first radio show didn't sound like the third or the tenth. The vision we've got on air now is certainly what we set out to achieve, so we're thrilled."
Blake also said that rumours about their ratings figures slumping are not true, insisting that they have "won the timeslot" every week and that Channel Nine are "rapt".
