The NRL player, who was fired from the reality television show by boss Mark Bouris in last night's episode, said that he was very "disappointed" when he discovered that Hines had tried to sabotage his team's attempt to raise money for charity by failing to let him know that he had put his piece of art for auction on her truck by mistake.
He also said that he was upset watching footage of how now-eliminated Hines picked on teammate Polly Porter during a KFC task.
Sailor told The Daily Telegraph: "For the event that it was, it was very disappointing. I felt more sorry for Polly. How she treated Polly and some of the others... well, people are just off Deni for it and I don't blame them."
The sports star praised Jesinta Campbell and Didier Cohen for their entrepreneurial skills, saying: "I thought Didier was a good-looking bloke and joked he was Zoolander, but he's actually got a good business brain too. For me, it was good working with young people like Didier and Jesinta.''
He also described Pauline Hanson and Jason Coleman as "wonderful" teammates, despite taking them into the boardroom for potential elimination with him.
