The ABC's TV programme schedule for 2012 revealed?

The Australian broadcasting network, which had recent success with Melissa George drama The Slap, revealed that comedian Josh Thomas will head up a new show for the corporation in 2012.

According to the Herald Sun, Offspring actor Don Hany will also appear in a new series, while former Spicks and Specks star Myf Warhurst will premiere her six-part documentary Myf Warhurst's Nice.
Other celebrities believed to be starring in ABC programmes next year include Justine Clarke, Judith Lucy and Frank Woodley. Richard Roxburgh's Rake and Adam Hills's Gordon Street Tonight are also rumoured to be returning.
Controversial comedy team The Chaser will be back on screens after The Hamster Wheel was a ratings success this year.
The official announcement of The ABC's 2012 schedule will be announced at their launch in a few days.
