The politician, who faced boss Mark Bouris in the boardroom alongside teammate Jason Coleman after they lost a school play challenge, said that she felt proud that she had acted with integrity throughout the competition.
As the duo entered the room, Coleman admitted that he was "devastated" to be there, but insisted that he and Hanson were the "underdogs" in the challenge because the other team had comedian Julia Morris on their side.
Bouris criticised Coleman for not managing to "maintain control" of the children they were performing for. The choreographer admitted that, after being labelled "mean" by the kids, he was "worried" about his "brand" and dwindling popularity as a celebrity.
In a bid to avoid 'backstabbing', Hanson praised her colleague, saying: "Jason knows what he wants. He's very dedicated to his profession and he wants the best out of people. [He's] tough but fair. I'm exactly the same." Coleman also said that he was "very proud of working so well with Pauline" because they are "so much alike".
Bouris admitted that he was "looking for celebrities that can participate at every level of contribution, strategising and delivering" for the next and final task, firing Hanson because "Jason has shown a far better level of skill" during challenges.
Hanson said after her exit: "I had no intentions of selling anyone out. I won't lie to save my own hide. I can walk away from this competition with my head held high knowing I have my principles, I have my values and I'm proud of what I have achieved. Who knows where Pauline Hanson is going to pop up next?"
