Aussie 'Beauty and the Geek' couple still together

A couple from Australia's Beauty and the Geek have revealed that they are still in a relationship.

'Geek' Lachlan Cosgrove and 'beauty' Jordan Finlayson, who met on this series of the reality television show, were believed to have split after he accepted a challenge to get teammate Sarah's name tattooed on his backside, but Finlayson has now revealed that she later forgave him.

She told National Features: "We are still together, and he's in Sydney with me right now, in my house. It's awesome.

"I cried when he got the tattoo, because I was so shocked. When I first met him he came across as being so conservative, and he was always talking about how his parents were quite strict, so for him to get a tattoo was way out of his comfort zone."

However, Cosgrove admitted that he has now added a second tattoo of the Beauty and the Geek logo, adding: "The tattoo [then] became more about my and Sarah's time on the show. I've always thought getting a tattoo in a romantic context was rather foolish."

Finlayson has admitted that she used to go for the "stereotypical bad boy" and was very surprised when she "came out with a geek".

The reality show's bosses shocked contestants with a twist this year, by introducing male 'beauty' Troy and female 'geek' Helen. Host Bernard Curry had previously warned viewers that there was more to this season than met the eye.

The Beauty and the Geek final takes place on Thursday at 7.30pm on the Seven Network.
