Elle Macpherson is out of contention for the vacant hosting role on Australia's Next Top Model, it has been suggested.
The supermodel, who presents Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model, is now thought to be out of the running due to her commitments on Fashion Star for US network NBC.

Fashion Star, which also features Jessica Simpson, Nicole Ritchie and menswear designer John Varvatos as mentors, will premiere in March of this year and it is thought that the amount of time Macpherson will have to spend working on both programmes will effectively rule her out of Australia's Next Top Model.
Miranda Kerr is now also believed to be out of contention for the role, according to the Herald Sun, as her husband Orlando Bloom will be working in England for most of the year and they prefer to travel as a family with young son Flynn.
Sarah Murdoch announced in December that she would be stepping down as host and executive producer of Australia's Next Top Model and has been linked with a role on Channel Ten's new morning show Breakfast.
A spokesperson for Foxtel said that a decision as to the new host will not be made for some weeks.
