The former sports star and male model, who is in a relationship with Dannii Minogue, was believed to be in the running to take part in the next series of the Australian reality television show. However, he has now dismissed the reports.
When Smith was asked on Twitter : "Is it true that you will be on Celebrity Apprentice?", he replied on his own Twitter account: "No not true," later adding: "It's just a rumour... TRUST ME."
Stars such as actor David Hasselhoff and broadcaster Ian 'Dicko' Dickson have been linked to the show, but the official cast announcement is apparently planned to take place in the next few days.
MasterChef winner Julie Goodwin is also rumoured to be taking part.
Last year's Celebrity Apprentice was won by Australian comedian Julia Morris. Since the show ended, she has reportedly won a regular presenting job on The Circle.
Smith was previously tipped to be appearing in the last series of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here, but the reports were proven to be false.
