Patti Newton has joined the Australian version of Celebrity Apprentice, according to reports.
The 66-year-old television personality, who is married to veteran TV presenter Bert, is believed to have arrived in Sydney to start filming the Channel Nine reality show today (January 16) alongside host and chairman Mark Bouris.
According to the Herald Sun, Patti will be joined by Baywatch actor David Hasselhoff, former footballer Jason Akermais, waterskier and model Lauryn Eagle, MasterChef contestant Marion Grasby, Amazing Race star Nathan Joliffe, comedian Fiona O'Loughlin and Can of Worms host Ian Dickson.
Patti has allegedly decided to donate all her proceeds from the show towards charity Sids and Kids.
Last year, Bert was rushed to hospital with pneumonia, while Patti's actor son Matthew was treated throughout the year for mental illness after attacking ex-girlfriend Rachael Taylor.
Comedian Julia Morris won Celebrity Apprentice 2011 and has since reportedly been offered a presenting role on daytime chatshow The Circle. Her fellow contestant Didier Cohen has joined Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O on their radio show, while Jesinta Campbell is rumoured to be up for a regular spot on Nine's Weekend Today after filling in for weather girl Emma Freedman last year.
