The former Dancing with the Stars presenter, who got together with Seven Network boss McPherson three years ago, has reportedly not experienced any relationship problems with him despite her leaving his TV station to work for the rival Nine Network.
A friend of the couple told The Daily Telegraph: "They've never been better. Rock solid."
Last year, 46-year-old Kruger said that she is not sure if she will ever get the chance to be a mother, saying: "You can want [kids] all you like. It is really then whether that happens. For some women, it just doesn't."
She has also previously described McPherson as a "fantastic partner" and said that they "always have something to talk about" because of working in the same industry.
As well as being the new host of Big Brother, Kruger has also been announced as the presenter for new breakfast show Mornings alongside singer David Campbell. Mornings replaces Kerri-Anne Kennerley's long-running programme, which was axed last year.
