The finalists for My Kitchen Rules 2012 have been revealed.

Nic Mazzone and Rocco La Bella impressed judges Pete Evans and Manu Feildel with their bird's nest pasta, King George whiting and dolci misti, scoring 44 out of 60.

Sisters Carly and Emily Cheung were praised for their dukkah crusted scallops, duck confit and Persian love cakes, with guest judge Karen Martini calling their dessert the best she'd had for the whole My Kitchen Rules season, but were still eliminated from the cooking competition.

After being told that they would be leaving the show, Carly told Nic and Rocco: "You've done us proud today and we think you're amazing cooks." She added: "We are really happy and are definitely leaving with our head held high.

"Our experience on My Kitchen Rules has been absolutely unforgettable. We got off to a rocky start and we really have only improved since then. We've been all over Australia. We have enjoyed almost all of it!"

In Sunday night's episode, Megan Woodman and Andy Appleby were eliminated after being out-cooked by Leigh Sexton and Jennifer Evans. Leigh and Jennifer will now face Nic and Rocco in tonight's grand final at 7.30pm on Channel Seven.
