The former Miss Universe Australia, who has been participating in the reality TV show for the past few weeks, said that her fellow contestants Esther Anderson and Tamara Jaber are receiving a lot of attention due to their private lives.
Finch told The Daily Telegraph: "You have to absolutely be aware there will be scrutiny when you appear on a show like this.
"While you'd like it all to be about your performance and how you dance, that's not going to happen and everyone's aware of what is happening with their profiles in the media. Our whole lives are in the media. The important thing is how you handle it, how you absorb it."
Finch said of Anderson hitting the headlines for her dramatic weight loss: "Esther is a naturally slim girl and that is how her body is and she does have a high metabolism.
"People like her have to make sure they eat the right foods and drink the right fluids, which I'm sure she is trying to do."
She also said of Jaber, who recently split from husband Kyle Sandilands: "When you have a high media profile people always want to know about your love life. But Tamara certainly hasn't talked about it and she's seemed pretty happy."
