'DWTS' stars Ewing and Bracks deny rivalry

Two contestants on the Australian version of Dancing with the Stars have denied a rivalry between them.

Actor Dan Ewing, who is best known for playing Heath Braxton on Home and Away, was believed to be locked in a competitive "battle" with fellow single celebrity Nick Bracks on the reality show.

Ewing told the Herald Sun that Bracks has better biceps than him and said: "Battle of the brawn... that's rubbish. We hung out at the Cleo [magazine] Bachelor party and if he'd won it I'd have been happy and he would have been rapt for me. We are having a great time and getting on really well."

He also hit back at recent rumours that romantically linked him to his dance partner Luda Kroiter, saying that they are just "good mates".

My Kitchen Rules judge Manu Feildel, who is also taking part in the dance contest, said that he is not looking "to date anyone from the show" either.

Other stars taking part in this season of Dancing with the Stars include golfer Jan Stephenson, sports star Nathan Bracken and swimwear model Lara Bingle. Bingle recently revealed that appearing on the show makes her "nervous".
