The Australian actor, who is best known for his role as Heath Braxton in Home and Away, was eliminated with partner Luda Kroitor after failing to impress the judges with his quickstep routine.
After the announcement, Ewing said: "I've had a blast. Thanks to Channel Seven, to my dance partner Luda, the amazing cast and to everyone who voted. Keep voting."
He also said that he was pleased to have raised funds for his chosen charity, St Vincent De Paul Society. "It's been great," he explained. "Mum works for them so that's been very special."
Lara Bingle, who was criticised by judges last week, was told by Helen Richey that she could be "unbeatable" in the competition.
Todd McKenney was impressed with Haley Bracken's jive, saying: "I thought it was amazing. You're taking the competition in your hands and you're running away with that trophy."
Singer Damien Leith was praised for his "infectious energy", while Samantha Armytage was told that she was "much more at ease" dancing a quickstep.
Brynne Edelsten found herself in the bottom two alongside Ewing, with judges telling her that the "dance floor doesn't" love her as much as Australia. The US-born socialite has been popular among viewers since host Sonia Kruger mocked the age gap between her and husband Geoffrey.
Last week, surf champion Mark Occhilupo was eliminated from the series.
