The 28-year-old socialite, who is married to 68-year-old Australian medical entrepreneur Geoffrey, was eliminated from the dance competition after performing a paso doble with partner Arsen Kishishian.
After the results were announced, the show's host Daniel MacPherson told her: "The way you held yourself was a testament to you."
Edelsten then said: "I loved the entire experience. It was a privilege to be part of this show. My dance partner Arsen is amazing. He's been my rock. I want to keep dancing. It's so much fun."
Haley Bracken came in first place, with her tango being praised by judge Todd McKenney. He said: "I absolutely loved it. It was an unbelievably great routine. It was classy, stylish and it had all the elements I look for."
Josh Horner also complimented celebrity chef Manu Feildel, saying: "You're infectious. It's fun to watch." Judge Helen Richey said that she enjoyed model Lara Bingle's cha cha cha, saying: "You had the audience eating out of your hand."
Edelsten has been involved in lots of controversy since this season of Dancing with the Stars premiered. Host Sonia Kruger was forced to apologise after mocking the age gap between her and her husband. She insisted that she was not angry about the comments.
Horner was also criticised for referring to Edelsten as a "bedazzled sack of potatoes" but later praised her for her "grace" and "dignity".
The US-born star has reportedly been offered roles in movies and television adverts since taking part in the reality TV show.
Home and Away actor Dan Ewing was eliminated from the show last week.
