The 24-year-old model, who was partnered with Carmelo Pizzino in the Australian version of the reality television show, was told by judge Todd McKenney that she was "dull" and lacked the "X factor" while performing.
Before the elimination verdict was delivered, fashion designer Peter Morrissey encouraged his Twitter followers to vote for Bingle and then told her that she looked "beautiful" on the show. He then joked to Dancing with the Stars hosts Daniel MacPherson and Sonia Kruger: "With those judges comments it should be called 'Dancing with the Scars'."
Home and Away actor Dan Ewing, who was eliminated from Dancing with the Stars three weeks ago, then wrote to Bingle on the microblogging site: "Dont u love when you do a great job and they hammer u? Judges wana get their names in the paper thats all (sic)."
Bingle also used Twitter to pay homage to her supporters, saying: "Australia thank you for all your love and support... it truly means the world to me."
She described the show as "one of the most amazing experiences" of her life and said that her father, who died from bowel cancer in 2008, would be "proud" of her as she raised money for bowel cancer awareness. She added: "I can almost feel him smiling."
Bingle recently revealed that Dancing with the Stars has "changed" her, saying: "[I've been on a] massive journey. I used to be a late person; I'm not any more. I'm very organised. I never realised how much you could fit in one day! Things like that; just everything's changed."
