The Australian swimwear model, who was recently eliminated from the Seven Network show, said that series judge McKenney was just "playing a part" when he labelled her "dull" on the show and later said that she wasn't "very bright".
Bingle told The Daily Telegraph: "It's just a show. It's a show. Todd is just playing a part. He is a character in a show. He has to say stuff he doesn't necessarily mean. It's his role. He said some unnecessary stuff about my hair, but at the end of the day it's just a show."
The celebrity revealed that she has not "spoken to [McKenney] since" his comments but said that she is still "grateful" for her stint on Dancing with the Stars. She added: "I have woken up every morning for the last few months feeling as though I've just gotten off a 48 hour flight. I am exhausted."
Shortly before leaving the show, Bingle said that Dancing with the Stars has "changed" her, adding: "[I've been on a] massive journey. I used to be a late person; I'm not any more. I'm very organised. Just everything's changed."
She was recently romantically linked to rugby player Danny Cipriani but has since insisted that they are just "friends".
The Dancing with the Stars semi-final airs this Sunday at 6.30pm on Seven.
